Blakeley Manor Neighborhood In Corona CA

The Neighborhood Of Blakeley Manor

Blakeley Manor real estate mostly consists of mid-sized single family homes. For example, you can find older three bedroom one bath homes and four bedroom three bath homes. The area isn’t as hot as Corona Hills or Sierra del Oro, but it offers affordable older homes. That is why it has an average age for residents of 30; it is a haven for families relative to downtown Corona. The area also has a fair number of apartments and condos. Blakely Manor is just west of downtown Corona instead of the famous grand loop boulevard. Once you’re inside the loop, the real estate market is dominated by multi-family housing.

Most Blakeley Manor students are assigned to Jefferson Elementary School. That received a four out of ten on Greatschools. They generally go to Letha Raney Intermediate School, though Corona Fundamental Intermediate School is about a mile away. They attend Corona High School. All of these schools are part of the Corona-Norco Unified School District. This area gets points for letting kids walk to the post office or high school. Students can walk a mile or so to Corona High School, Corona Vista High School or Orange Grove High School. Grace Lutheran School is less than a mile away. Saint Edward School and Christian Heritage School are within a mile of most residents. And you’re a five minute drive from Corona Regional Medical Center.

Blakely Manor has an average walk score of 77. Note that the average walk score is 50. Blakeley Manor receives this rating because of the restaurants, shops and grocery stores along Lincoln Avenue and Sixth Street. It has a public transit score of 32. There are bus routes along Tenth Street and West Sixth Street. It has a better than average bike score of 53. The neighborhood gets points for being a fifteen to twenty minute bike ride to Corona City Hall and City Hall Park. You’re half a mile from the Corona Civic Auditorium. And you’re a mile and a half or so from the Fender Museum on Main Street.

The only thing the area is short on is parks. There are small parks like Husted Park, Eucalyptus Park, Lincoln Park and Sheridan Park. Husted Park is the largest one. It is located on Merrill Street just outside of the grand boulevard. It has basketball courts, tennis courts, softball fields, playgrounds and a lawn great for just playing on. This park is notable for being named for a World War 1 hero, Chester Seth Husted.

Eucalyptus Park is located in the opposite direction. Lincoln Park on Lincoln Avenue is unusual for having an inclusive playground that children with physical disabilities can play on. It also has conventional playground equipment, picnic areas, restrooms and a jogging course. It covers roughly five acres. Sheridan Park has basketball courts, playgrounds, a picnic area, bathrooms and a horseshoe pit.

Blakely Manor really doesn’t have HOA or the community parks that they maintain. You’ll find that in the newer suburbs farther away from Riverside Freeway.
